What Makes a Useful Report

Name the exact tool or page and the edition you used. For a calculation, include every input, unit and option, the result displayed and the result you expected. State whether the problem occurs after editing, resetting, copying a shared link or opening a fresh page. These details distinguish a formula issue from an input or display issue.

A source URL, a short independent calculation or steps that reproduce the behavior helps more than a statement that the result looks wrong. For browser issues, include the browser version, operating system and the relevant permission or error message. A screenshot is optional; remove private details first.

Report Content and Translation Problems

Quote the short phrase that needs correction and explain the problem in its context. Unit labels, decimal notation and differences between an estimate and a measurement are especially useful to flag. For a translation, state the edition and suggest wording that preserves the same technical meaning. A human suggestion is not automatically a verified correction until its meaning is checked.

Accessibility and Browser Failures

Describe the action you could not complete, the control or result involved and the keyboard or assistive technology in use. Include whether the issue persists after moving focus or resetting. Do not send a recording of private speech, a camera image or sensitive document just to demonstrate that permission or decoding failed.

Stop media or network checks before investigating another task. The site cannot dismiss a browser permission prompt on your behalf. Permission can be revoked through the browser’s own site settings. For provider errors, record the time and error state without repeatedly retrying a busy endpoint.

Keep Sensitive Information Out

Do not include passwords, API keys, private URLs, full device identifiers, personal photographs or account recovery information. A shared calculation link deliberately contains its entered numbers and can be stored in browser history or server logs. Check it before sharing. A public IP is useful only when the report actually needs that address.

Choose the Right Inbox

Use contact@savvytoolkit.com for general questions, accessibility issues and privacy enquiries. Use Corrections@savvytoolkit.com for calculation errors, inaccurate content, unit labels and translation problems. The topic you select in the form routes your message to the corresponding inbox.

The form sends your name, reply email, topic, subject, optional page URL and message. A confirmation means our mail service accepted the message for delivery, not that it has already been read. A submission problem leaves the draft in the form. No response deadline is promised. Savvy Toolkit does not provide manufacturer support, account recovery or remote device access.
